Program Description
Event Details
Get ready for a cozy hour of reading and fun on August 6th from 1-2pm! Teens will be paired with younger children (recommended ages 4-10) to read together for an hour in the Youth Programming Room. The age ranges are flexible, what matters most is the shared joy of books and connection. Teens will earn volunteer hours for participating. Everyone is encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal friend! We'll have a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a cozy selection of picture books and beginner chapter books. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Come ready to relax, read, and make new book buddies!
*Note: Please indicate if you're comfortable or would like to read with more than one child.
